Your child's teacher used the word "concerns" again. The pediatrician mentioned ADHD and handed you a book list you've been sitting on for three weeks. Your private school application requires a WISC-V, and the deadline is in six weeks. You've been wondering for two years whether the way your kid melts down is normal, or something else. You’re an adult who has spent a decade wondering about your own neurodivergence or mental health struggles, and you finally want answers and a solution.
The work of an evaluation is to answer the questions you arrive with. Clearly, in writing, with recommendations you can use. Sometimes that means a diagnosis. Sometimes it means an explanation without one. Regardless, you see a clearer picture of what's going on and know what to do next.
What I evaluate:
IQ Testing for Private School Admissions
WPPSI-IV and WISC-V testing for Seattle-area gifted and private school applications.
If you’re applying to a gifted program or a private school in the Seattle area, the school has probably told you what test they need and roughly when. I can help. An IQ evaluation is a single session, 60 to 90 minutes, in person at my office in Lower Queen Anne. Your child sits with me and works through what feels to most kids like a series of games and puzzles.
You get a direct report written within 24 hours. I can send results directly to the school if you’d like. For children 4-5, I use the WPPSI-IV; for children 6 and older, the WISC-V. I don’t administer the KABC-II. If your school requires it, I’m happy to refer you to a provider who does.
Investment: $850. A $150 deposit reserves your appointment. The balance is due the day before testing. You don’t need a consultation for this service, you can book it directly.
If you’re applying to a school you can’t afford the testing fee for, ask the school’s admissions office. I partner with several Seattle-area schools that cover testing for families experiencing financial hardship.
ADHD Evaluations for Children
Comprehensive ADHD assessments for kids ages 5 and up.
You’ve watched your kid struggle to sit still, listen, or to finish a task without distraction. You’ve read the books, talked with the teachers, late-night Googled more times than you can count, and you’re ready for a diagnosis so you can finally start responding in ways that help.
A comprehensive ADHD evaluation answers the diagnostic question and also the contextual one. The evaluation looks at attention, executive functioning, behavior, and the cognitive and emotional picture that shapes how ADHD shows up in your kid, specifically. The point of an assessment is to see if your child’s profile warrants a diagnosis, and regardless, give you a plan you can hand to school, the pediatrician, and follow yourself.
You’ll have a virtual intake first. Your child will do standardized testing in my office. You and their teachers complete questionnaires. Then we meet again virtually for a feedback session, and immediately following our feedback call, I email a written report that includes concrete recommendations.

Adult ADHD Evaluations
Focused, efficient ADHD assessment for adults.
Many adults suspect ADHD for a long time before beginning the formal diagnosis process. Maybe a friend got diagnosed, and in reading the criteria you felt seen in a way you didn’t expect. Maybe you’ve been white-knuckling executive functioning your whole life - or your kid got diagnosed and the apple-tree question started landing.
An adult ADHD evaluation gives you an actual answer. No in-person testing required. We do intake on telehealth. You complete standardized questionnaires, someone who knows you well, preferably a parent (or partner), completes collateral input. Then we meet again for a feedback session after which you’ll receive a written report and recommendations.
Investment: $1000. Half is due at intake scheduling. The balance is due before feedback.
Comprehensive Psychological Evaluations
Diagnostic assessment for children and adults with complex presentations
Comprehensive psychological evaluations are for complex situations where anxiety, mood, behavior, and learning are tangled up together. It’s likely you’ve gotten half-answers from a few different providers, and none of it has added up to a picture you can act on.
A comprehensive evaluation looks at the whole picture. The point is diagnostic clarity and a set of recommendations you can use to move forward with treatment, school, or work.
Investment: $2500 to $5000, depending on scope. Half is due at intake scheduling. The balance is due before feedback.
Independent Mental Health Evaluations for Organizations
Objective, well-supported psychological assessments for schools, attorneys, and disability determinations.
I partner with organizations that need mental health evaluations. This includes independent psychological assessments for disability determinations, case clarification, school placement decisions, and other consultative needs.
My approach is efficient, thorough, and grounded in current diagnostic standards. Reports are clear, well-supported, and written to be useful for the decisions you need to make. If you represent an organization that needs an experienced evaluator, please reach out to discuss your needs.

Intake

Each evaluation begins with a detailed and personalized intake.
For younger children, that’s parents only. For teens and adults, the person being evaluated attends the intake, too.
We’ll talk through your concerns, agree on what we’re testing for, and schedule the rest.
Testing
(In Person for Kids)
Testing happens in my office, except for the adult ADHD evaluation, which is fully telehealth.
Depending on scope, testing might be a single hour, or three-plus hours across a couple of sessions. Questionnaires for parents and teachers complete the picture.
Feedback
(Virtual Only)
When all questionnaires and testing are complete, we meet for a feedback session. You will get your written report via email immediately after this meeting .
I’ll walk you through what the report means and what to do with it. You’ll also have a chance to ask any questions that have come up through the process.
